Creative Workshop – Kelkar Museum

Theme:

Past State:
Everything we see from the history has evolved us for the present. The conditions then, traditions then, design then, art then gives us the perspective of the evolution. What we see at the Museum today, at one time was the latest technology, tools and art! Change is constant! Learning refers to past, what we we do with the learning creates our present and being ahead of time represents our future.

Present State:
Everything we do today is history in the making. The aim of this workshop is to collect a series of objects / pictures / designs that have been exhibited to create a narrative about the traditions, culture and influence of technology in 2021.

The twist is that we are imagining that we are creating a museum in the future, and what the objects we see and use everyday might mean to people living in the future.

Future State:
Imagine you 200 years in the future, curating a historical and archeological museum about India in 2021 for traditions, culture and influence of technology – what would you include? How would you creatively design with your knowledge, experience and imagination!
